* The cats did not enjoy the fire inspection, poor things. We scooped them into the bathrooms and let them out when our inspection was done. Unfortunately, heat sensor tests mean that the alarm goes off once for each apartment in our building. The beasties nerves broke on the second test, and they all hid. I have lit my lights and fed my dead. By around 3:30 I got a call that they were trying to push through the paperwork for the move. They did get the sale recorded by the end of the business day, but I didn't like my chances trying to make it to the office in less than half an hour through rush hour traffic, so I'm going tomorrow to get my keys. I feel like I've been beaten with sticks. There is no chance of me going to the Halloween party tonight.
