* Monday we did an outdoor physically distanced visit in masks. It went pretty well, with the only issue being that one maskless dog walker who's dog lost his shit at seeing humans outside who got closer to me than I like while trying to restrain him.
To be clear, the dog was obviously friendly, but he was large a muscular and emphatically did not want to return to the path. People actually on the path were not a problem as we were far enough away. There was a light breeze. I'm pretty sure we were fine.
The thing the Millenials noticed that I've been noticing too lately is the weather. This is the sort of Summer weather we used to have before climate changed completely borked the weather patterns. I decided to live here on the basis of it, and then it went away in favor f humid, smokey oven.

I love this weather. I wish we could keep it, but the smog and temperature are rising again as a lot of places come out of lockdown. Sigh.

* Monday we did an outdoor physically distanced visit in masks. It went pretty well, with the only issue being that one maskless dog walker who's dog lost his shit at seeing humans outside who got closer to me than I like while trying to restrain him.
To be clear, the dog was obviously friendly, but he was large a muscular and emphatically did not want to return to the path. People actually on the path were not a problem as we were far enough away. There was a light breeze. I'm pretty sure we were fine.
The thing the Millenials noticed that I've been noticing too lately is the weather. This is the sort of Summer weather we used to have before climate changed completely borked the weather patterns. I decided to live here on the basis of it, and then it went away in favor f humid, smokey oven.

I love this weather. I wish we could keep it, but the smog and temperature are rising again as a lot of places come out of lockdown. Sigh.
