* Friday: A benefactor has sent me a new and better lap top. This is a huge relief as Rupert has trouble booting up, and I live in fear of the day he just decides not to do it, and poor Hiddleston doesn't have a fully functional keyboard and has only a dicey connection to the internet. I will likely be slow with content this weekend as I do set up type things with him.
I am so excited! Thank you! It's been a scary year and a half connectivity wise. Oscar (tentative new name) is way more modern than than I'm used to, but seems user friendly ad I've hopes of him lasting a good ling time.
Update: The picture on this thing is so crisp! And Oscar is so fast!
Further update: I got Oscar doing all of Hiddleston's basic functions. It will likely take me a few weeks to migrate more of Rupert's functions across in preparation for eventually doing a proper switch, but not tonight. Tonight I just focused on the basics.
* Saturday: An unexpected out of town guest turned up and hung out until a bit past midnight. He'll likely be by again later in the week. Obviously, I didn't do much news prep in the evening, so odds are I won't be caught up for a while.
