* If there is a Right Wing Resistance in the White house, why didn't these self proclaimed "adults in the room" stop him from ordering the kidnap and abuse of thousands of children? Why haven't they stopped current plans to flout court orders with long term detention of children as is currently in the works? It seems to me the NYT Anonymous writer is either lying about his influence or is lying about being an adult in the room. Either way...? Yeah.

* Call me old fashioned, but I think someone who repeatedly commits perjury and claims using stolen documents shouldn't really be considered a crime because he lies that everyone does even though they don't should not be allowed to be a judge at all and rather than elevated to the Supreme Court as a reward for lawlessness ought to be arrested instead and tried for his crimes. Perjury in front of Congress carries a sentence of up to five years in prison. Why don't we have the trial first and if he's found innocent, they can nominate him again. If not, they should wait until after he's served his time to vote on his nomination. However, I feel like anyone who doesn't believe in the rule of law is by definition unqualified for any role in our judicial system, even if putting an end to the rule of law is a major goal of the Republican Party. The constitution is not a set of easily disregarded set of guidelines as Republicans believe, and our system despite it's flaws ought to be reformed using law, not tossed out when it's inconvenient to the ruling party.

Seriously, why isn't "Believes in the Rule of Law and doesn't lie under oath" a minimum requirement for a Supreme Court justice?

* Hearings continue even though Republicans refuse to release the documents from his time in the executive Branch for review. Please, please, please if you can manage it, contact your Senators to get them to fight the Kavanaugh nomination. This is geometrically more important if you have a centrist Democrat like Joseph Manchin, Joe Donnelly, and Heidi Heitkamp; or Republicans like Tim Scott, Marco Rubio, Susan Collins or Lisa Murkowski. (For Scott and Rubio emphasize Kavanaugh's racism and support for racial profiling, for Collins and Murkowski emphasize the right to chose and the Jane Doe case where he tried to force a raped immigrant teen to carry against her will, With Murowski, you might also mention his opposition to programs benefiting Alaska Natives). Contact Chuck Schumer and ask him to whip the Democrats so as to get them to stand in united opposition.

Protest in person if you can, but if you can’t, here are some other options:
