* We got the car sorted out, and then I took it on a log drive. On the way back, I filled the tank, so that's anther thing squared away. The gas was at a price I haven't seen since the early '90's.

Today the pain won. The allergy level I've been dealing with didn't help, but really it's the AS kicking my ass. The thing that blew me away as I reached for the emergency pain meds was how few of them and the muscle relaxants I've needed since the new tub went in. It wasn't a week or two weeks. It may have been as long as a month or more since my stubborn plus some of the best non-narcotic pain meds on the market weren't enough.

Like the ongoing damage is still ongoing and I'm so annoyingly fragile that if I'm off by a centimeter in my sleep I wake up in terrible pain, but this is so much better than it's been in years on the average day. I haven't had to put my right rm in a sling since the tub came. I've only had a few days total that my regular pain regimen can't handle. This is literally the worst the pain has been since January.

This tub is the best thing that's happened for my AS since I spent the last of my small inheritance on a really good bed.

I love that I live I a city that would do something so humane for a disabled person who struggles to subsist. I wish that everyone lived in a state and a city that considers a life like mine valuable. It infuriates me that most people in this country don't.
